Love hanscom AFB, I was at the show, it was magnificent. I got to get my cap autographed by some thunderbird team members. Hope in 2003 it's the same but this time the Blue Angels...

Can't wait to go. Loved the one in Portsmouth last year.

Airshow is on. T-Birds almost as good as the Blues. Quit bitching about the scanners. Don't forget they found a 2-way radio in the building across from the twin towers. Get over it.

No scanners - think about it - they don't want people scanning police/security bands. Not necessarily the performers.

The Show is deffinatly on. I was informed by performer Mike GOulian who Owns the flight schoool I attend. I'm pissed about the scanners, The Thunderbirds are always fun to listen to.

Why are cellphones allowed and not 2 way radios. Isn't a cell phone a radio of sorts? Works like a two way radio some time right? But the show is great in any weather...Will be there...

I believe it is going to happen this year. I read an article in the Boston Globe about the upcoming airshow, so it looks like this year its a go. They should have the airhshow every year, alternating with the thunderbirds and the blue angels. This show rocks and draws about 500,000 people each time.

What? We can't take scanners in this year? WTF!!!>? I took a scanner in 1998 and had no problems! Whats the big deal? It's just a freakin radio that makes it more enjoyable for the show. Why can't you take a scanner in this year? Can't they just scan your radio with a metal detector and all? Are they going to inspect like every inch of your car? I bet there will still be people who get scanners into the place. Does anyone know some good viewing locations for the airshow, not on the base? Thanks email me at tlkob@37.com
