| bigdougdog eatontown, New Jersey |  This is mainly a Naval museum but they have several A/C also. Naval wise it is realy well done. right up to speed with the MT. Pleasent SC naval park, the Mobile AL naval park and the USS Intrepid. However in my opinion this one ranks on top. the have a sub, a german ship, seval PT boats (inside), a Battleship, a destroyer, a lander craft and A/C. if you are anywhere near this place go check it out. 09/22/2011 @ 19:51 [ref: 24748] |
| C Chella , Massachusetts | This is a very worthy museum of your time and money. The exhibits are well done, and the docents and volunteers are quite knowledgeable. Lots to see and do. If you do nothing else, take a tour of The USS Massachusetts. This will open your eyes to the REAL riggors of war. | Frank Silvia Westport, Massachusetts |  As an Air Force veteran and 28 years with the Navy I highly recommend this site. As a result of our military status and the present conflicts. It has become difficult to engage and view our military history at local bases and camps. This museum provides an opportunity to scouting organizations with overnight camping on board the USS Massachusetts and tour the other ships and their facilities.
