Wonderful place with great people. I kept a J-3 three there for two years and was there every weekend. A true aviation treasure and a step back in time. It was run by Bob Dart and his family. Bob recently passed away (august 2008). We will miss you Bob

It’s been 16yrs since I have visited the airport. My grandfather (Dick Stearns) and I would go up every weekend he had a Cessna 152 that he kept up there. That same year he crashed his ultra light on a test flight and passed away from injuries sustained in the accident. I very much enjoyed every visit. I would recommend everyone to go see this wonderful airport and visit with the greatest people that have kept it going year after year.

Just returned from five days in the beautiful western part of New York State. The highlight of the trip was spending an hour touring the museum and facilities of the Dart Airport. What a treat to see all the various aircraft and aircraft building and maintenance facilities. All of the above was only surpassed by the cordially guided tour by Mr. Dart himself. Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon.

this is what a general aviation airport should be. grass strips, an airport restaurant, a museum stuffed with lots of aviation "stuff." older men in chairs sit outside their hangars and critique landings. they have glider rides and piper cub rides. bob dart is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to lend a hand or tool. just a great airport to soak up general aviation.

Amazing collection of GA artifacts. A freindly staff, decently priced glider rides and greasy spoon thats not at all bad. Throw in 2 well groomed grass runways and no high admission.
