The Navy is considering the SV-22 as a replacement for the S-3. To say there will never be an SV-22 or that the V-22 is only meant for the Marine Corps isn't accurate. There are already four confirmed variants between the Air Force, Army, Marine Corps and Navy (CV-22, UV-22, MV-22, HV-22 respectively).

THERE IS NO SV-22A FOR THE U.S. NAVY OR U.S. MARINE CORPS FOR ANTI-SUBMARINE WAFARE EVER.BECAUSE THE V-22A/B OSPREY WAS ORIGINALY FOR THE U.S. MARINE CORPS.
