I have a question. What was the "Special Armament" on the PB4Y-2B? Were they missiles? If so, what were they used for? I'm also getting conflicting reports on bomb load. Some sites say 6000lb others say as little as 1600. This air craf has realy intreeged me. My sister's father-in-law apperintly flew one during the WW-II. Unfortunately he passed away several years ago. Is there a web sight that I can go to to find indepth info?
