Two TA-4H were ordered by the Israeli Defense Force (Air Force) in August 1966. The TA-4H was a variant of the TA-4J used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. First flight of TA-4H was on 15 April 1969. A second batch of eight TA-4H aircraft were delivered between 1969 and 1970. Seventeen TA-4J aquired when? Ten more TA-4J aircraft were delivered in 1993 plus three aircraft ex-AMARC in 1994. A total of 10 TA-4H models and 30 TA-4J models acquired by the IDF Air Force. Used by A, B, and C squadrons conversion training and by the FTS for advanced training. Hebrew name 'Ahit' means Vulture.
