Lear Jet Model 23, serial number 23-002, is hanging in the Civil Aircraft Wing of the Smithsonian's National Air & Space Museum (NASM) Udvar-Hazy building at Dulles Airport, outside Washington, D.C.

It is the oldest surviving Lear Jet. The first Lear Jet, s/n 23-001, was destroyed in a crash during early testing (in those days, "Lear Jet" was two words; now it's "Learjet").
