I checked in to see a photo of the Lockheed YP-80A. My interest was in seeing a photo of the prototype jet in which Major Frederick Borsodi was killed...December 1944 at Burtonwood, England. His jet was serial no. 44-83206.
Today, I own his old grand prix Bugatti, which he owned at that time, back home in Texas. He was a graduate of Yale and an amateur road racer, as well as pilot. I am told he was an only son and I have had no luck tracing any relatives; if you know of any, please let me know.
