I was the DCC on 86-0185 at Eglin AFLT 40th FTS from Oct 1993 to Mar 1995 and she is definitely not a D tub converted to a Strike Eagle 185 was a Strike Eagle from the ground up big difference

The F-15 on the pedistal at Seymour Johnson is not a real E-model, it is a B-model made to look like an E-model. The tail number starts with 77. I was there when they put it up being assigned to the 334th Fighting Eagles on aircraft 89-0499 and then going to the 333rd Lancers when that squadron first began in the summer of 1994 with aircraft 87-0184 as the first jet to taxi into the Lancers. That aircarft was later assigned to the 334th and I received 87-0190.

the 405th was the second best time of my life.i was one of the last to live on the base and as a young man at that time.i got to see and do more than most and i learnd alot.thanks to the men at the base.they were all my older brothers.and do you remember those orange jump suits lol.

I too was stationed at Luke AFB, 87-90 (405EMS) I have x-rayed every 15 that was there as well as burned about a million soap samples!!!
Hmmm, if I had stayed in, I could have retired by now...

I was stationed at Luke AFB from 86 to 90 with the 405th EMS worked for the 550th CAT. Thats the AGE shop for all you that remember that far back. I was there when they had the older versions F-15 and for the E model.

I was a B-shop at Luke AFB, AZ from April 1982 through June 1985. I was assigned to the 426th and the 550th. Wondering if anyone else out there remembers those days

Used to be a F 15E crewdawg....stationed in Mt Home,Idaho...391st fighter squadron...BOLD TIGERS. My pig was 87-1707, was wandering if anyone knew if this jet was still in active service? Ssgt Kevin Wheeler was my training DCC, as was Tsgt Paul Warnloff.....any info on above ppl or aircraft would be greatly appreciated. 95-98

hello and old friend of mine built and designed the newest strike eagle aircraft in st louis old friend woody that attended columbus community college and was veitanam war hero flying hundreds of sorties as a door gunner and graduated with his a and p also I had visited woody many times years ago in st louis missori with his wife I had mailed congress before the terrioist attack but unfortunatly someone had stold some of my phone numbers woody whom had top secret clearance ever since I visited him year ago I have not been able to contact him for years

I am the DCC of Aircraft 87-0195 I love my airplane and I took over from SrA Massi when he left to go to england. I love my airplane it may be a pig but it is my Pig. E models are the power house of the AF inventory and we all know it.
