The biggist surprise of all was the Mig 21, Lockheed star fighter, avro Canuck, McDonnel Voodoo and alot moore aircraft. The best thing was the Y2K Spitfire its that completly bult but its so cool to see such a pice of history. On the May long weekend the Y2K restoration crew is having a big open house its going to be a blast and they want you to come. 03/24/2007 @ 19:09 [ref: 5762] |
stephen victoria, British Columbia | Greetings. We are compiling a film history of the Beaver sealane, and are seeking any "moving images", in any format, of the Beaver at work or "in the news".
Any assistance would be appreciated. 09/15/2005 @ 16:52 [ref: 4437] |
Walter D. Thorne kitimat,, British Columbia | I am chairman of local museum board and do considerable research and writing about our past.
I am researching for a airplane crash investigation. Apparently, a trainer fighter crashed on our nearby slopes around 1943. The plane was flying out of the World War 2 base at Terrace which is less than 50 km from here in Kitimat. Please help. So far no-one seems to know anything about these old crash files. They must be around somewhere and they have to be accessable. We at the Kitimat Centenial Museum board would appreciate the assistance.
Your help and consideration
are appreciated.

Brian , British Columbia | This was a nice museum. It has some old aircraft that the Canadian Airforce use to use.
Plus it even has a little area where you can look at old jets the CAF used to use, and even
a Mig-21. Which they never used. I recommend this museum. 12/01/2000 @ 20:12 [ref: 639] |
