Stationed in NAAS Fallon as a transient line supervisor and SAR aircrewman from 1969-1971. Had a great time. LtCDR Clements was our was the Ops Officer. Charlie Cuts was the Line Supervisor. Pretty fond of the H-34 and later the Hueys.

I was stationed at NAAS Fallon from 1967 to 1969. Ran the Paraloft and was a duty Search and Rescue aircrewman flying H-34s. I would enjoy hearing from anyone who served at Fallon.

I was with VA 144 in 1967 and went to Fallon NV for about a week or 2 and was attached to the line crew at the time of our stay and so as our ac was being fuled we was standing around the ac and watching and talking and all and so as the fuel truck driver was outside his truck at that time the next thing I observed was this guy got in his truck not paying any more attention he started to drive way with the hose still hocked up to the airplane and fuel still pumping into the ac and next thing the hose and all came off that ac fuel splashing all over and it came around the hose that is and cought me in side my right ankle and put hole a 1/2 in dia I would like to know who that driver is .

I was assigned as a station keeper when I came out of Parachute Rigger school in 1970. I worked in Operations, on the flight line, paraloft and became a Huey crew chief putting in about 240 flight hours before I left in 1972. I really enjoyed my time there and would like to go back to see how the place has changed.
