The serial number 62-4328 is identified as an F-105D per Joe Baugers website. The serial number 64-4328 cannot be found.

The post has the planes dispayed at two gates, no entry is necessary: F-15A Eagle, F-105 Thunderchief, F-14D Tomcat are at the main gate. Gate #2 has two other aircraft. All are in great shape, and if driving by (I-24), worth a small detour. only 2 miles. For what they have, and the size of the base, wonderful displays.

The base has restricted entry. Even active duty military are not allowed on the main base. The display aircraft are out where anyone can take pictures.

First it was a Center, then a station, now a base? What aircraft are BASED there?

If there is ever an open house, go if you can. If I'm not mistaken, the F-105 is actually a 'B' instead of a 'D'.
