I stayed at the brand new SOFITEL in downtown chicago on the 26th floor, overlooking the southwest side of the city. The hotel was great. The Air Show was better. This year they had the B2 Spirit (Stealth Bomber), The US Army Golden Knights Parachuting team, and, of course, the world famous Navy, F-18 Hornet, Blue Angels. I have been there twice now. no words describe it! You have to go! The night show at Navy pier was new and great, too. We had a great time in the city for a few days.
