Despite the outrageous costs of food and refreshments, the performance of the Blue Angels and the F-15 made the show worth the trip and worth standing in the heat (102 degrees on the tarmac). I don't know if it was for security reasons, but the Blue Angels were parked on the 180th ramp and you couldn't see the crew chiefs going through their drill. I also missed seeing Fat Albert doing a JATOS take off.

BLUE ANGELS AND HERITAGE FLIGHT (F-15) WERE AWESOME. DRAWBACK WAS HIGH REFRESHMENT COSTS.BUT I BROUGHT BOTTLED WATER THROUGH GATE BOTH DAYS.MORE FREQUENCIES FOR THE BLUES ARE 238.150,275.350, 263.350. CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT.

I was as usual impressed with the perfomance of the Navy Blue Angel's and the other Flyers. I was not impressed with the poor parking provided. I also was totally shocked at the downright Highway Robbery that you were doing with the price's for bottled water and soft drink's. I said something to one of the cashiers about the the cost of bottled water($2.50) and she said that they had to cover there cost. Give me a break, you can buy a case of water for around $6.00. And I was told that you couldnt bring a cooler in for security reason's. I would have been glad to take every thing out of my cooler if I had to. This was just a legal excuse to rip people off. I will not spend my money at your poor excuse for a airshow again.

Overall it was a good show. It was hot, but National Guard had a few "Buffalos" set up between the private hangars. The Blue Angels were worth the wait. Too bad that the A-10 and F-117 couldn't make it. Needed more loudspeakers set up. While hiding in any shade that could be found, could not hear when an act was introduced. Not quite world class, but pretty awesome for a small metro area.

Too bad that they did not allowed water in, I took 4 grandchilden, 6,5,5, and 2, got too hot for them and could not find water, $2.50 and bottle, what a joke, show was good, but slow, will not come back to toledo, will go to an airport that allows water, best advise for people with small childern.

I liked the air show, but was very upset with having to pay $2.50 each for bottled water. We had no option since we couldn't take in coolers. We also kept hearing that there was free water somewhere, but never did find where that was at. I noticed there were quite a few people getting overheated, and feel that people were trying to avoid paying the steep fee for water, and were pushing themselves to the limit.

Although this was not the best Air Show we have been to, it was worth the day. My son and I were very hot/sweaty, thirsty, tired of waiting in lines and bored between acts. However, we were there -together- and had the best time. We always have a great time when together. No matter how bad the show. Overall, this was a good Air Show. Worthy of giving up, not wasting, 1 day. Thank you Food Town and The Toledo Blade. ***

My first official air show! I loved it, but it was a little disappointing (high expectations). The F-117 and A-10 couldn't make it, and the Blues and Fat Albert were parked at the 180th FW all the way across the airport. Couldn't see much action until they got to the runway, then you saw everything. Heritage Flight and Blue Angels were wonderful. A great experience I will never forget.

Show turned out alright. A little disappointed in speed of show. Show stopped too often to allow commercial flights through. A-10 & F-117 couldn't make it. The Blues and Fat Albert were parked over at the 180 FW, so you couldn't see much. It was only a good show when the performers were airborne doing their thing. Hope it gets better for the next time.

Show was worthless to long between show. some of the plane didn't show a-10, f-117, blues c-130. Food stand to long of lines over a hour wait. Counld not bring coolers in. ((NOT WORTH A LOOK))
