Ken Johnson KJandSon@triadrr.com Low Gap, North Carolina | I have known Mike since we were 12 years old,he was always trying to make a difference in the world. I worked for his dad in a small country store in Virgnia and Mike worked most weekends, we were very young but Mike always showed me how to act and treat everyone with respect ,as he progressed through school, then into the Navy he was always an example to prove that you can make a difference, and even though he's no longer with us he is still makeing a difference in all our lives. Mike we miss you!Enjoy your journey,May God Bless, and Fly Navy.PS.I will see you on the other side! 02/21/2003 @ 09:58 |
John Jay JJay943@aol.com Oxnard, California | The crash of the QF4 aircraft at Point Mugu, during the April 2002 Air Show, was quite likely
caused IN PART by management negligence in the areas of training, maintenance, parts, safety, and personnel problems. Was negligence by management a contributing factor? There is a 90% probability that it was! I have documents and witnesses to back up these allegations. Will the Navy every tell the truth about what happened? Not likely, because high level Navy managers at Point Mugu might end up in jail for covering up what happened, or for criminal negligence. The Navy cover up of what really happened is in full swing. The TRUTH will NEVER be forthcoming as long as the Navy is allowed to continue investigating itself! Those two aviators should NOT have died. A Federal Grand Jury should be looking into this and NOT the Navy! 08/11/2002 @ 00:36 |
George George@AFMConsulting.com , California | I also have a question regarding the air show that is shown as scheduled on 07/27/2002 (this coming Saturday). I know there was a show earlier this year but what is scheduled for 07/27 ????????? 07/24/2002 @ 12:37 |
Glenn Chipburner@aol.com Santa Ana, CA., California | Could someone please clear this up for me?
From reading the info the Airshow seems like it already took place? The date shows this Saturday for one day only? aren't they Sundays also?
The Blue angels are scheduled for Pasco, Washington that weekend will they be there?
Thanks for your help. 07/24/2002 @ 03:53 |

Lisa liza@borla.com Oxnard, California | There is not a day that goes by my family and I don't think of Mike. There is not a day that goes by Nicole does not ask for her daddy but we have come to understand including Nicole that her daddy is now a beautiful angel watching over her. When Mike and Sylvia came back from Texas we were so happy to know that our family was now complete. It breaks our heart to know that our family will never be complete again. I see my beautiful niece's Brooke's face it breaks my heart to know she will never get to know her daddy, knowing she would have been daddy's little girl. I know Mike died doing something he loved. Besides family and God, Navy was his life. He was a spiritual, dedicating, loving man. Who would be there for you in a second. I know there is not a day that goes by I don't cry, wait for a call, or wait for Mike to walk through the front door. I love and Miss him with all my heart. He was the best brother I have ever had! Ira Rubinson ira.rubinson@adelphia.net Port Hueneme, California | I thought the white smoke comming from the Phantom jet was just an airshow effect though I knew that it was highly unusual to see during a demonstartion of an operational military jet. My friend shouted "look, look" when fireballs came from the engines. When the wobble started in the knife edge turn I knew the guys inside were in serious trouble. I was expecting them to punch out up until the time they disapeared behind the trees. I couldn't believe it. 05/04/2002 @ 23:38 |
Javier Perez Valdenebro Madrid, | Desde España tambien hemos sentido la perdida de vidas humanas en la Exhibición aérea de Point Mugu.

jim palmersheim shady27@aol.com grapevine, Texas | I had the privilege and honor of knowing Michael Storm Norman both as a friend and as a fellow aviator. Let there be no doubt, Storm was one of the finest people I have known in my life. Whether in or out of the cockpit, Storm was the guy to whom you could always count on. His strong belief in God and his love for his family were always his top priorities. His passion for flying and his dedication to the Navy was something Storm made quite clear to those fortunate to have known him. In a world seemingly void of role models, Storm certainly filled that void. His character, integrity, moral courage, humor and wit are the things that I will truly miss about my friend. Storm was the best of the best. God bless you Mike, rest in peace. 04/28/2002 @ 19:09 |
