the airshow was overall ok i would give it a "C" blue angles were great (as always) the f-15 demo was very good the kc-135 fly-by was ok. the ground displays were horrible and soveneirs were terrible!!! nothing but blues items and there were about 10 tables and all were the same!!! i drove from atlanta to kingston and i would say the trip was worth it but i would not attend again no. and the air show netork sponsors the airshow horribly. well, have a great day

Great show even though the weather was kinda bad for photography. I have some photos here but I have more at my website. You can see them at: http://www.joebarr.com/blueangels1.htm The Blue Angels put on a great show, but for me the F15 was the prize. Alamo Kicked!

The weather held out just enough for a good show. The Blue Angels did a great job and I enjoyed the F-15 demo as well. The more military jet demos, the better! :) Triple fly-bys from my hometown 134th ARW KC-135E Stratotankers, too. There was not a lot of variety in the static displays but what they had were good. Security was surprisingly lax and it didn't seem to occur to the planners to provide trash barrels until close to lunchtime on Saturday (maybe the trash folks just showed up late). A good show overall. http://web.utk.edu/~spaulson/ Photos from this show to be added soon!

Although the Blue Angels were headliners, there were many other great acts. Including, two biplane performances, the firebirds, and an F-15 demonstration. Many ground displays were also featured, including a "munitions tent" where visitors could handle disarmed grenades, M-16's, small anti-tank weapons, and beretta side-arms. Several aircraft were also on the ground, including 2 F/A-18F Super Hornets, 2 Super Stallion transport helos, an F-5 painted in a MiG color scheme (apparently from the Red Flag exercises), 2 Chinooks, and a small passenger jet. Several military ground vehicles were present, including some sort of APC and a Bradley fighting vehicle, both of which visitors could enter.
