Does anyone know or have photos of the F-102(?) that was on display at Longbranch Park in Liverpool? I still can't believe the F-16's will be replaced with drones in a few years. F-22's would have been nice.

I've heard a rumor that the New York Air National Guard had an aerobatic team equipped with the F-86H. I don't know the team's name or when it was formed. Don't know how many shows were performed or where. Can't find anything on the internet regarding the team but have heard from Duncan Curtis in England that it did exist. As best I can tell, it was an ANG team and wasn't an active AF team. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone considered an air museum at Hancock Airport. Or possibly relocating the national warplane museum from Big Flats NY? It could be put by the old unused runway. The old warbirds from the 174th sitting on base near ExecAir could also be displayed. There's enough traffic to sustain the place financially.

The F-86H shown on your site is very definitley in front of the VFW Post in Central Square about 15 miles north of Hancocl Field. It appears that the fuselage has been painted failry recently - The canopy ids cracked - landing gear doors are missing -otherise is fair condition. It has NO markings to indicate it was a NY ANG aircraft! I shot photos of it last week 04/25/07
