I am happy to see a little more information appearing on the Republic F-84's there is so little available on this under-appreciated aircraft that it's hard to find real data on it. I can't even find a single example that is still flying! The F-86 is a great aircraft too. But the plain Jane F-84 was a real work horse in an early jet air force. If any one has information that they would like to pass along i am compiling a book to highlight the Thunderjet form start to end. Pictures, stories, personnel experiences would be appreciated. If you do send something along be sure that you include name address, and contact information also permission to publish. I will be most happy to show contributing credit.
I am also working on Grumman F-9F Panther/Cougar info as well; another of the underrated work horses.
Thanks for all your help.
