J. Shannon Hollywood, FL | I was the crewchief of this aircraft when it was assigned to the U.S. Army Aviation Test Board in Fort Rucker, AL. Years, 1958 to 1961. Brings back memories. 03/01/2004 @ 10:41 [ref: 6881] |
Peter Baker , CA | The first airplane that I ever flew was the civil version of this aircraft, I believe it was the 560 model. This was in the winter, 33 years ago, and we were flying from Aspen, CO to Denver. There was mucho snow over the front range of the Rockies that day, so we were unable to make into DEN. I was allowed to fly for about an hour, not even making my mother sick. We eventually had to land at Eagle, near Vail, and then had to drive a rental home. It was a great time for a 13 year old, and solidified my love for anything aviation-related. Ilove this website. 05/30/2001 @ 17:02 [ref: 2382] |
