There has been a C2 flying in the USA. it was a bi-plane single engine. The C2 is a Single engine and was used in the first Air to Air refueling attempts.
In this case other aircraft was a F.10 on a long distance attempt. The tail of the F 10 was hit later in the flight the aircraft crached the pilots jumped out the F 10.
