Hank Ingles London, OH | Back in I believe in '84 or '85 My partner and I were delighted to haul the fuselage portion of a Beech "stagger-wing" GB-2 to the Pensacola Air Museum. We picked it up at the air base in Oroville, California. It caused quite a stir along the way with aircraft fans. Finally found a pic on the Pensacola museum site. Beautiful plane. We worked for TSMT Airline Division out of Joplin, Mo. Was also honored to haul Space Shuttle parts back and forth from LA to New Orleans NASA facility. I believe the Beach was the most delicate and special load we ever had. Even went a different route to avoid sand storm. 01/07/2014 @ 08:23 [ref: 68285] |
