My Grandfather was a navigator on a B-24 in WW2. A couple years ago when the 17 and 24 visited from the Collings Foundation I finally got to see and hear what my grandfather described. I fell in love with both planes and had always hoped to find one. Sadly I found how few survived and always thought that one the things Boeing could do is duplicate the aircraft. this would be inportant for generations to come.
