| Wess Rodgers Albuquerque, NM | In the late 1960's two D-models were used as slurry bombers in New Mexico. I saw them flying out of Kirtland AFB many times. I don't remember the year, but one of them augured into a mountain and was totally destroyed. I read that the other was retired, but have no idea what ever happened to it.
