Rod Bratton Huron, OH | Served at the Kinch from 67-69. CC on 60-0056 and then job control, night shift. Boy, do I remember those cold Winters on the old flight line. I took my family on a trip to the UP. and to show them the Kinch. Boy what a dissapointment to see what they have done to the place. Saw a not above from Wayne Bowers. I worked with him and Yale Wentworth back then. Great guys. 12/28/2011 @ 15:26 [ref: 51655] |

Michael R. Mueller Hope Mills, NC | I worked on B-52H modles at K.I Sawyer AFB for the 410th OMS from 1981-1984. I was on SAC alert numerous times while stationed there and competed in the weapons loading competition in 83,84. My tail # was 1007 but can't remember if it went 61-1007 or any other combination. Just need to know how I can find pictures of my airplane on line 06/03/2011 @ 12:39 [ref: 39177] |
Mike McCarthy El Paso, TX | I have been asked to build a model of B-52H 60-0049 For the Fort Bliss Military Museum (includes the former Biggs AFB). I am looking for any pictures of the aircraft as it looked in 1960-1963.

Wayne Bowers Laurinburg, NC | In 449th OMS from October 63 to March 67. Was asst. crew chief on several craft. Attended Bomb Comp in 66 at Fairchild Washington. Yale Wentworth and I went back to the Kinch 2 years ago. Truly depressing. 10/24/2010 @ 02:52 [ref: 31644] |
Bruce B Slobodnik Gwinn, MI | I remember the days of working on the king of the sky, or like we use to say time to work on our BUFF. I was a crew chief on numerous B-52H's. Worked on the monster in some nasty weather and pulled alot of alert. Still missing that haunting sound in the evening when the plane returned from it's sorty. 09/20/2010 @ 04:39 [ref: 30268] |
