Clarence Hartley Conway, SC | To; Mr. Charles Rainey
I seen your e-mail and I am trying to find anyone who flew C-97's out of Clark AB during Vietnam. From Mar 1967 to Nov 1968 I flew Cargo missions out of Clark AB, PI to several bases in Vietnam with the 636th Combat Support Group If you know anyone from that era or head me in a different direction where I just might locate anyone, please E-mail or call me at (843) 397-9884.
Thanks
Clarence Hartley

Charles Rainey Bountiful, UT | I would appreciate hearing from anyone with information regarding C-97A, 48-0397, which operated out of MacDill AFB during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. I have already managed to get a considerable amount of information regarding the project declassified and am in the process of preparing a book regarding the operation.
Any information, facts or anecdotes, will greatly be appreciated. Please indicate "C-97" in your subject line.

larry , OK | What a surprise to see my old bird 49-2591 was converted to a tanker! Know where I can download a better picture? It was assigned to the Oklahoma Air Guard in the early 60's along with sister ships 589 and 596. Thanks. 02/18/2002 @ 21:05 [ref: 4345] |
