There is an opportunity to save the "Stratofreighter" by keeping one flying.

We, at the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation, are in the process of doing just that. Boeing C-97G 52-2718, has just been painted, and we expect to ferry her to Floyd Bennett Field, NY before the end of the year.

Inside "Angel of Deliverance" as we have dubbed her, will be a museum to the Cold War. We intend to fly this aircraft to events and airshows in the same manner as we do our Douglas C-54 "Spirit of Freedom"

For information, contact the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation at Airlift 48@aol.com or visit our website at http://www.avialantic.com/bahf.html
