Supported a YB-47 that belonged to NASA in 1988 during a research mission in Greneda. Aircraft was used to take samples of the atmosphere in an ozone study. Didn't get any photos of it but it was amazing watching them start this aircraft - by using explosive charges to start the jet engines. NASA personnel put a "vaccuum cleaner" in the bombay to take in the air samples.
Recently saw a YB-47 (2002) (don't know if it was the same one) at Dobbins ARB, GA. 04/29/2002 @ 23:33 [ref: 4829]
