A Brewster Buc was being assembled at Johnsville NAS, Pa when the base was closed and the Navy grabbed it and shipped it to Pensacola,Fla at the Naval museum where it sits gathering dust. You would think, being the lone survivor, they would finish restoring it and put it in the museum on static.
I was a member of the museum at Johnsville NAS before moving to Texas, the museum folded due to the lack of interest in the area and a senior citizan's housing development is there now. 05/19/2007 @ 12:57 [ref: 16524]

The RAF ordered 750 Buccaneers which they promptly renamed the "Bermuda". The serials assigned to the order were as follows: FF419-FF999 & FG100-FG268. It is not clear if the entire order was actually delivered or not. Those that were delivered were uncrated, assembled and parked in a field where they remained until the end of the war...then scrapped. A few of these aircraft did make into RAF Sqdns where they were utilized as target tugs. Looking for more feedback on possible RAF usage.
