| Joni Dupree , LA | Back when I was around 12 or 13, a friend of my Dad invited us to Ryan Field, the local, uncontrolled airport near Tucson. He took my Dad up for a ride, then me in his lttle homebuilt. That was my first airplane ride and from then on I was hooked! Years later, I finally got my pilot's license. And yes, that little aircraft we flew in was the Bushby Mustang 2, built by Dad's friend Richard McMurry, currently on display at the Pima Air Museum! 01/08/2005 @ 00:31 [ref: 9083] |
