| anonymous , NY | people with money can get away with murder and aaliyah is the perfect example. her family lied to baricade the truth.everyone blames the pilot.they wont admit alliyahs part.I look at her and admire every thing she did she had it all looks and the voice. And thats another reason why she got away with so much is because of her looks. I feel sorry for the pilot and his family because to this day the world still thinks he killed her. Another thing that the people dont know is the pilot warned her that the plane had to much weight on it and what was her response DO YOY KNOW WHO I AM IM AALIYAH AND WHEN I SAY IM GETTING ON THIS AIRPLANE THATS MEANS IM GETTING ON IT RIGHT NOW! | Rob Adelaide Australia, OTH | I heard that aaliyah and the other passengers were in fact not warned about the weight of the plane. The pilot is the one solely to blame for this accident. He chose to take off in an aircraft he knew was 700kg over its max takeoff weight. And get this the pilot wasn\'t even qualified to fly the 402- he lied about his flying credentials and hours(plus he had drugs and alcohol in his blood) and probably didn\'t even bother checking the weight and balance before takeoff.
