Fiorello Adriano Quezon City, PHILIPPINES, AL | Gentlemen,
Please be informed that the Philippine Air Force had five (5) U-17Bs in the 70s.
Air Force tail numbers were AF-280 to 284.
We installed 2.75 FFARs on at least three of them and used them in interdiction role, forward air controller role and transport role.
Unfortunately, in the mid 80s, they were sold or bidded out and most ended up in North America.
Would appreciate any information on their whereabouts.
Thank you
Fiorello S. Adriano

Former Pilot for PAF
