I was in VE-1 our Skipper was CMD Powell and we operated out of Saipan----we did not need a arel gunner there were no guns the 5H was Hosp.only. my PPC was CMD English he became Exc Of VR2 When we left VE-1---went into VR-2 flying trasport 5R Any info on VE-1 PLease send me WAS THERE 2 VE Sqds ????
