Only two C-131Gs existed. Both were US Dept of the Navy aircraft. 145962 was utilized as a staff aircraft in Europe while 145963 was utilized first as the CNO aircraft, then assigned to the 4th MAW as a staff aircraft. I know that 145963 was outfitted with two couches, four oversized reclining leather chairs and two four person work/eating tables. There were two heads, one forward and one aft, as well as a full galley and two crew bunks in the aft compartment. This VIP configuration was removed when the DOD no longer had 115/145 octane fuel available due to performance degradation using the alternate 100/115(?) fuel.
