Ron Van Putte vanputte@nuc.net Ft. Walton Beach, FL | I was a professor at the United States Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson AFB 1964-1969 and saw a wind tunnel model of the Culver XPQ-15 at the AFIT low speed wind tunnel. Apparently it was tested in the wind tunnel during the 1940s, before the wind tunnel facility was taken over by AFIT. I saw pictures of the full scale airplane in the wind tunnel records. I understand that two airplanes were built by Culver during the 1940s. Does anyone have pictures of a full scale airplane? 01/13/2001 @ 20:27 |
