| Robert West Palmdale, CA | There is now a Curtiss C-46D,(s/n 44-78019A) at the Palmdale Heritage Air Park. It arrived in about November of 2005 and is in the process of restoration. | Daniel Mac Millan Newport Coast, CA | This aircraft was flown to the United States from Taiwan by Fred Patterson (Captain)and Daniel Mac Millan (First Officer & Navigator in about 1980. I still have the original air charts from the journey. We used bladder tanks in the main cabin and plumbed both engines to enable us to reprovision the engine oil inflight.
