willard e. cawley kingston, ON | Enjoyed browsing your site,I was curious about the Jenny JN4A as I have an original I.D. plate from aircraft #5527,I have had this since my childhood days of the mid forties,it is made of a nickle alloy with a baked dark blue enamel inlay, the design incorporates a flying boat at its base with feathered wings extending upwards on each side of the circular medallion,it reads "the CURTISS Aeroplane Co.Buffalo,N.Y.USA No 5527,model JN4A ,it was located on the wooden dash of a crashed aircraft in the woods of southern New Brunswick,I hope someday to visit the museum in Ottawa, have heard so much about it,now that I'm retired I've no excuse not to go...always had a passion for aircraft. wec 09/19/2003 @ 18:17 [ref: 6703] |
Machine Shop Class KCCC Mount Vernon, OH | Our Superintendent requested that our class build a Curtiss Jenny JN-4A for our Children’s Garden. It is also for a Veteran of World War 1. He is the oldest living pilot to fly the Jenny. The model will be dedicated to him. If you have any blueprints or information to give, we would appreciate it.
thanks,
