Carmel j.Attard Mosta, Malta,Europe, CA | Hi,
I really like the Skywarrior, I remember it using our Luqa
airbase in Malta,Europe, whenever the USS FD Roosevelt,
Independence, America or Forrestal used to call at
our Grand Harbour way back in 1965-70. The A3d,and EKA3D
used to land at the Luqa air base along with Skyraiders, for a
night stop.Very impressive aircraft,so much so I have made
a model of it to a scale of 1/72 scale.I have a photo of it
but in this space I cannot send any attachments, however if
you go to www.airmodel.de/gallery/attard/attard/.htm
there you will see several USNavy models I have made and which
are at my home museum at Mosta.
Now I would like to make a model of the trainer version of
the Skywarrior but I have a good side view and I require a plan
view photo in order to see the extent of the International
orange paint on top of the wings.Could you please help?
With best regards
Carmel J Attard
