I was an Electronic Warfare Operator in the Army Security Agency from 1967-70. I took high altitude rapid decompression, parachute and ejection seat training at Weisbaden AFB Germany and was to be a crew member in a A3D-,probably a -2Q, operated out of Ramstein AFB. We flew with no personal military ID but the aircraft was marked. So you could say I would have been in the Army flying in a Navy aircraft on an Air Force base as a civilian with a cover story no idiot would have believed......Ah yes military intellegence ! Before I flew my first flight the aircraft was deployed to Shemya AFS, AK to cover a mission previously covered by a AF "black bird" damaged during landing. Since I had just come from one year of duty on beautiful Shemya I was reassigned to Frankfurt Rhein Main flying in AF C-7A Caribous... Fun times !!!
