Jerry Gillming Lacey, WA | I worked for ACE FLYING SERVICE in Salem,Oregon and have many flying hours on B-18 N62477.
We use it as a spray plane and it worked very well at that job.
Ace Flying Service had three B-18s at that time.
Currently both of Leo Demers sons live in the Redmond, OR area.
Thanks for the memories.

LEE A PERNA ALEXANDRIA, VA | Correction: both aircraft sent to Brazil were B-18 models. 06/21/2009 @ 19:03 [ref: 24255] |
LEE A PERNA ALEXANDRIA, VA | The two aircraft provided to Brazil were not B-18C bombers. This is a research mistake made by Robert Trimble in his article "Bolo: America's Forgotten Warrior" published in "Air Classics" in May 1980. This error has been propagated by other authors ever since. In fact, USAAF records show that B-18 S/N 36-300 and B-18A S/N 37-32 were transferred to Brazil in April/May 1942. Neither aircraft's record card reflects any conversion to a B-18C. 06/21/2009 @ 18:39 [ref: 24254] |
Charles Gilmore , UT | Two B-18Bs, the ASW version of the basic B-18A bomber, were provided to Brazil during World War II under the designation B-18C. 06/15/2008 @ 08:17 [ref: 21430] |
Lee Washington, D.C., VA | Known serial numbers are 37-558, 37-579, 37-582, 37-591, 37-472, 38-604.
