Back in 1943 I occasionally caught a hop in an old O-38 down in Port au Prince Haiti which was among some old aircrafts that the US gave to the Haitian airforce. I recall one particular time when I was riding in the rear cockpit and the pilot buzzed low over a Haitian village. We were so low that I could see pigs, chickens, goats, and people scrambling in all directions.
