 | Not much to add to what has already been mentioned.  What I have been able to learn about the Skypirate so far that I can add is something for comparison.  It could carry four times the payload weight of a Grumman Avenger.  I have also read that it was larger, heavier and faster than a B-25 medium bomber...if it had been operational on a CV, it would have been the largest piston-engined aircraft to fly on a carrier at that time. 09/07/2002 @ 20:26
