This data from a Fairchild "Pegasus" magazine article.
Only one ever built, modified from a production C-119G taken from the line. Wing had no dihedral in the center section, and was of radically simplified construction. All fuel was carried externally in pods, which greatly reduced the risk of fire dmaage to the wing in the event of anti-aircraft fire or a crash.
The aircraft was in competition with the Lockheed C-130. 01/06/2005 @ 16:40 [ref: 9068]
