The Fw-190D-12 you refer to at the museum of flight is a Fw-190D-13. Someone needs to do a better research job.

Champlin's Fw 190 D-12 is on a five-year loan to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. It was just put on display there in May 2004.

Hi all! I had heard a rumor that there is a small factory in Germany that has begun producing 190s again. If so maybe you folks could drop me a line as to where the factory is and, what they are asking for a new Fw190. I had the unique opportunity of flying one when I was stationed in Germany in the early 1980s. It was a dream come true, she handled like she was a part of me. I have never flown anything like her since. Take care,God Bless America!
