Milton H. Pharr Moss Bluff, LA | 1957 I arrived El Toro, MCAS, assigned to VMCJ-3 which was in preperation to re-locate to Iwakuni Japan. After a few months working around the F9F-8P and attending Plane Captain school, I was assigned #TN-4 Aircraft, which I Took care of Like my Own personal possesion. I Cleaned, wiped, Polished, made sure every brake puck was good enough Tires were correct inflation, back up air cylinders full, engine oil, and fueled ready for Flight.
How fortunate I was, that we had the finest young men to make life long friends with, and the Finest Officers in the Corps.
Qualifing Pilots aboard Carrier was the Ultimate experience of my USMC career.
