Gene Rigney Douglasville, GA | Started with VMA-231 in 1974, then went to VMAT-203 on build-up crew in 1975. Went to VMA-513 Det A in 1975-1976. Went to Iwakuni, Japan VMA-513 1976-1977. I served in the same units again until my retirement in 1994 with VMA-231. I was a Seat Mech, worked QA and Maintenance Control in my tour. I worked on the AV8A and the AV8B, loved the aircraft and what it could do. Worked with the best bunch of guys in all of the units I was in. Hope all are alive and well.
