i RECENTLY WENT BACK TO MY ORIGINATION STATE OF RHODE ISLAND. I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM AN OLD FRIEND, HE ASKED ME IF I COULD COME TAKE A LOOK AT SOMETHING THAT HE HAD FOUND BURIED AT HIS TREE NURSERY. I HAVE FAIRLY STRONG BACKROUND IN AVIATION.WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE NURSERY I SAY WHAT LOOKED TO BE HELO MAIN ROTOR TRANSPORT CAN. WE THEN OPENED IT UP AND DICOVERED THAT THERE WERE 2 MAIN ROTOR BLADES WITH ALL THE PAPERWORK INSIDE SRC CARDS AND ALL. THE CARDS HAD SERIAL NUMBERS TIME SENSE NEW/ HOURS THE WHOLE 9 YARDS. THEY WERE OFF 1952 TIME FRAME KAMAN HUK, A NAVY RESCUE HELO.AND YOU KNOW THEY WERE IN GREAT SHAPE FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME THEY WERE SURE TO BE BURRIED.I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE THAT IS INTERESTED IN THEM. 10/09/2007 @ 05:46 [ref: 18140]

Flew an H-43 at Sangley Pt, P.I. around 1963/64 time frame. Strangest aircraft I ever got ahold of. Replaced by H-34 and then Charlie Kaman's other attempt, a single engine H-2. 10/17/2006 @ 12:32 [ref: 14482]
