Willy Logan Walla Walla, WA | (Actually, according to the Los Angeles Times, Stanley Beltz died in the crash of an F-94B Starfire, not a PV-2 Harpoon.) 11/23/2005 @ 13:01 [ref: 11781] |
Willy Logan Walla Walla, WA | My grandfather's late wife told me that her brother, Stanley Beltz, was killed in the crash of a modified PV-2 Harpoon while testing it in California. He was a Lockheed company test pilot and, among other things, was the very first pilot of the C-130 Hercules. I am curious if anyone has any information on his crash or the rest of his career.
