My father(Lt Cmdr Charles William Schuh) flew the R50-4 (USCG Tail#05049)as the personal pilot and aide to the Secretary of the Treasury from 1946-1948.His Lodestar crashed, on January 24, 1948, into the waters off of Wagner's Point(Baltimore)killing all on board.The aircraft was not recovered until March 27, 1948.

My Grandfather, Marine Col. L. T. Burke flew R5O-4 serial number 12448 on Sept 11 1943 for 9 hours on a flight listed at "T" in character. Co-pilot was ? Kreiser & passengers, Riley and 4 others. Remarks indicate: "Local at Ewa"
