Hey!...where are all of you US-3A people at???..Send me a line...I'm currently the MMCO at VS-24 (The Scouts) and we are on our final cruise before we decom in March 07...This is my second tour in the SCOUTS...I was in VS-24 from 94 - 2000 and now I'm back again to take a long lost friend to the dry air of Arizona...I will not forget the S-3 for many years of fun and frolics and happy we never got caught doing some of the stuff we did!...Thanks..Gary GO SCOUTIES!

you could grab the engine on a us-3a and kind of shake it and it would swing a few inches. this was always fun to watch when loading passengers.

I was a loadmaster on Miss Piggy from 1987 to 1990...over 3000 hours and 700 Carrier Landings later...I still have to say it was my best tour. The 6-7 hour flights (One way)from DG to the Gulf and back took there toll, but it was all worth it.

I had the pleasure to ride in Miss Piggy from Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory to USS Kitty Hawk CV-63 in November of 1985. I was on my way to VA-147. Three hours in a 5 point harness, the best part was the Chief Postal Clerk that was onboard. He didn't handle the break very well. In fact the loadmaster and I thought the Chief might have crapped in his pants. And we hadn't even trapped at the time.
