Leo Spychalla , WI | In early 2008 I was snooping around hangars at the Lakeland FL airport. A door was open so I went in. To my surprise a Lockheed XFV-1 was in there. I was shocked. I had no idea it was there. So I quickly took about 20 photos from all angles and all surfaces I could get. Great to see it still exists. 03/30/2009 @ 20:00 [ref: 24046] |

Daniel Earl Lilly Wheatland, CA | I don't know if it's still there, but there used to be a Salmon at the Air Museum across from the John Wayne International Airport in Orange County Southern California. Thought you might like to know.
Also, I am having a hard time finding some action films of it, like take off, flight, landing, etc. Nothing I put into the search box on Internet Archives comes up with anything. Can anyone direct me to a site that would have films of it in action? When I was a kid, I remember I had a model of it, the Convair version, and the Ryan X-13, but that was centuries ago. I think Revell put them out. Anyway, thanks for any help you could give me on this.
